Allstate Sugar Bowl Welcome to the Allstate Sugar Bowl Media Relations Website As the Allstate Sugar Bowl prepares to celebrate its 75th anniversary with the 2009 Classic, its goal remains the same: to create the best game possible, for the media, as well as the participants and the fans.
Team announcements will be made on Sunday, Dec. 7. Media members will be able to register for credentials after the team announcements are made. However, members of the local or national media that will be covering the game no matter which teams are playing, can begin the registration process by clicking the following link: http://www.sportssystems.com/bcs.
When completing credential requests, media members should be prepared to submit a photo as all credentials MUST have a photo. We will have the capability to take photos at the media hotel upon pickup, however, by submitting your photo in advance, the process will move much faster.
The media hotel will be the Marriott at the Convention Center. Rooms are available at a rate of $172 per night with a three-night minimum (NOTE: valet parking is available at the hotel for $20 per day).
